Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner are still living separate lives, but Brody Jenner insists it's not a sign of problems in their relationship.
Bruce Jenner might have his own bachelor pad in Malibu, but don't assume that means his relationship with wife Kris Jenner is on the rocks. Brody Jenner told Now magazine that their arrangement might be a little unconventional, but it doesn't signal strife.
"I stay out of their business, but as far as I’m concerned, they haven’t split up," he told the British magazine. "Dad’s been in Malibu — he grew up out here — and the press has made a big deal of it. It’s nothing to do with them breaking up."
The "big deal" refers to a recent interview Kris' sister, Karen Houghton, gave to In Touch Weekly. Karen — known as "Crazy Aunt K" to the Kardashian/Jenner kids — said that the pair are "separated" and that Bruce has "sought out a lawyer."
"Their relationship goes back and forth. I would love to see them get back together," Karen said. The reason for their problems, according to Karen, is Kris' flirty ways.
"I’ve heard she flirts with Scott [Disick] and Lamar [Odom] when she’s drunk," the part-time nurse added to the magazine.
We don't really know what's happening in the Jenner marriage, but Kris' daughter, Khloé Kardashian, finally alluded to her own marital problems on the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The 28-year-old has stayed pretty quiet over the past few months as her NBA star husband battles an alleged crack cocaine addiction.
"There are a lot of emotional issues I think that Lamar has," Khloé told teen sister Kylie Jenner on the show. "I do want to help or cater to Lamar but also, there is only so much anyone can take."
"Lamar is a very depressed person, which is sad but understandable with everything that he has been through in his life," she added.
The pair is still together, though sources tell TMZ a divorce is "inevitable." The reality star is hesitant to pull the plug because she's afraid Odom will overdose or commit suicide.
Despite the problems, Khloé continues to put up a defense on Twitter.
"Speculate all you want. The armor I put around MY family can't melt or even scratch," she tweeted on Sunday night. "So continue to throw your daggers. You will never cut us, you will just tire yourself out. Strong and united we will still stand."
