Rob Kardashian is famous because of his family, but he is moving on and pursuing his own dreams. For the little brother in a famous family, socks are the answer.
Rob Kardashian may be famous because of his last name, but that doesn't mean he appreciates what his siblings do. The 26-year-old little brother of Kim, Kourtney and Khloé told The Wall Street Journal he has no interest in Keeping Up With the Kardashians. He said he is focused on much more important pursuits.
"Literally, my job is I make socks. That's all I do," Kardashian told the Journal. "I don't necessarily care about the show. I would rather film this — me doing what I do — than being around my family."
Lee Hawkins with the WSJ accused the Kardashians of making careers out of doing nothing, and Rob Kardashian may have proven the writer correct. But no one can accuse the Kardashians of not being close as a family.
"But thank God, I have that opportunity to be with my family and work with my family," Rob K. said. "Not everybody even gets to live with their own family because they have to go to L.A. or New York or wherever to work and find a job and leave their family back home. But everyday I get to work with my family — if I want to. And I'm all about family, that's how I was raised. We've all got each other's backs. And thank God, I have the opportunity to do what I love, which is my family and work on a business and try and make it the best that it can be."
The little bro is not worried about what his sisters are doing with their lives, but he knows (or is pretty sure) they are good at whatever that is.
"I don't know what their goals are at the end of the day. Obviously, they love fashion and they've always been involved in that world," Kardashian explained. "I love fashion too. I've been surrounded by women my whole life, so obviously I love fashion. But I'd like to do my own thing and focus on what I love. If people accept it, they accept it. If they don't, they don't."
Kardashian continues to work on his sock lines, and he shows more passion for socks than you could imagine possible.
"The design process never stops," Kardashian said. "That's the best part."
