She told reporter Rosci Diaz, "[Sweeting] actually started a little fight with me and threw me off. I was like 'Oh my God, things aren't great.'"

However, that was an entire ruse crafted by her boyfriend to throw her in the wrong direction about what was really going to happen later that evening.

Cuoco continued, "He surprised me at the end of the night... [when] he popped the ring out. It was amazing."

The CBS star knows that there are some critics out there who are saying that it is too soon for the couple to get married. However, Cuoco has an answer for them.

"From day one I just knew immediately and it's been magic. We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met," she gushed. "So I kind of feel that I've known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it's what works for us."

There is no wedding date set yet, but the sitcom actress is enjoying her engagement.

On the work front, she and her co-stars are still in negotiations to raise their paycheck to upwards of $1 million per episode.

The cast shouldn't have too hard of a time getting more money though. Last Thursday's Season 7 premiere was the highest-rated premiere ever for the show.
