They Turn Up The Competitive Heat
Season 5 of The Voice is gearing up to be the most competitive season yet. Blake Shelton and Adam Levine will do anything it takes to win.
Blake Shelton has a pretty good sense of humor and it looks like he's going to continue to give Adam Levine a hard time all the way through Season 5 of The Voice. Shelton has had three out of four winners on his team since the show began.
On Wednesday on The Today Show, the country singer talked about Levine and their hilarious rivalry.
He joked, "I live to make him feel bad about himself."
The 37-year-old star knows that there is chemistry between the two of them, but it's a very fiery bromance.
"I would say where there's smoke, there's fire. We're very attracted to each other. I'm already married, so it's never going to work out," teased Shelton.
The "Mine Would Be You" singer knows that there's a target on his back this season and that his fellow judges are working hard to win.
However, don't look for Miranda Lambert's husband to back down one bit.
"Screw them, man! That's my competition," he said. "I don't care if they like it or not."
His main rival still is Levine who is resorting to dirty tactics to get the best singers on his team.
Shelton revealed, "I had a hard time getting people to come with me this year on my team, and Adam had some good points. He threw out some stuff about the NBA and how nobody's ever won four of anything in a row — I can't remember what these stats were — but he actually got in some people's heads and stole some people."
TV audiences will have to wait to see how Season 5 plays out. With Shelton ahead of Levine with three wins versus one win, it's going to be a great season for the Emmy award-winning show.
