Lamar Odom Reportedly Getting Help
Lamar Odom might finally be getting help for his addictions.
Lamar Odom's recent DUI might have been the straw that broke the camel's back. The former Los Angeles Clippers baller reportedly checked in to a rehab center to deal with his drug and alcohol addiction.
"He realized he needs help," a source told People of why Odom went into treatment.
The treatment comes at the end of a tumultuous few weeks. First, the baller was accused of cheating on his wife of nearly four years, Khloé Kardashian, with multiple women. Then, she reportedly kicked him out of their Tarzania, California, home for abusing crack cocaine.
He eventually moved back into their home — and was then arrested over the weekend for driving under the influence. Odom was allegedly driving below the speed limit on a Los Angeles-area freeway before cops pulled him over.
This won't be Odom's first trip to rehab; Kardashian reportedly made him go in 2011, though he left after a short stint. He didn't feel he needed help at the time, but the Kardashian family allegedly staged an intervention two weeks ago.
"Khloé is more concerned about saving Lamar than ending her marriage," a source said of why Kardashian is trying to stick it out.
The reality star hasn't commented publicly about her husband's trouble, other than a few choice tweets.
"As much as I wish I were made of steel... I'm not," she tweeted over the holiday weekend. "I'm pretty damn close to it though hehe."
Let's hope this is what Odom needs to get better.
