New details in Allemand's death

The boyfriend of Gia Allemand has issued a statement on the reality star's death — and he is just as shocked and saddened as her pals from The Bachelor franchise.

New details in Allemand's death

The death of Gia Allemand has left her friends and family shaken — none more than her boyfriend Ryan Anderson, who found the reality star near death.

According to TMZ, Anderson, an NBA player, and Allemand had a rocky relationship and the former The Bachelor contestant was pretty broken up about it. Anderson found Allemand hanged in her home Monday night and immediately called 911.

She had a pulse and was put on life support, but, per her family's statement, she had already suffered too much brain and organ damage to ever recover.

Today, Anderson released a statement on the death of his beloved, saying, "I'm deeply grateful for all the love and support we have received from family, friends and fans. Gia was the most beautiful person I knew inside and out and she always smiled and made everyone else around her smile. She had such an amazing impact on my life and anyone that knew her was blessed."

"All I have left is to cherish those memories we made together and help perpetuate the many values, faith and love that we shared."

Other The Bachelor stars tweeted their dismay over the news, including Sean Lowe, Jake Pavelka, Vienna Girardi, Ali Fedotowsky, Melissa Rycroft, Trista Sutter and Juan Pablo Galavis.
