Sarah Darling might be described as an "up and coming" country singer, but the blond beauty has already played at the Grand Ole Opry an astounding 40 times. She wasn't born into the industry, either: The Iowa native took off to Nashville after high school and never looked back.
Now, the singer is making her way up the charts with her new single "Little Umbrellas" and a summer tour opening for Alan Jackson — and she hasn't looked back.
"The biggest thing for me is being exactly who you are," Darling said. "I'm the same girl I used to be, playing the fairs and festivals around Iowa. I know the challenges I'm up against and I'm ready to take them on."
Her awesome attitude is exactly why we're big fans — and we were so excited to have Darling stop by SheKnows for a Google Hangout.
