Comfy & Cozy issue

Andy Samberg gets
a badge

With an abundance of exciting new shows premiering this fall, we look forward to plenty of cozy nights snuggled up on the sofa with the remote control. Here are 20 new TV series we can't wait to watch!

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

Crime dramas, by nature, tend to be gritty and serious, so we can't wait to see how police work pans out in the hands of Saturday Night Live alum Andy Samberg — a detective in New York City's outermost precinct.

P.S. We couldn't be happier to see Andre Braugher get another shot at a hit show!

Almost Human

In addition to the cool, sci-fi plotline — Los Angeles Police Department officers partner with human-like androids to fight crime in the future — there are two super-compelling reasons to watch Almost Human: talented (OK, and cute!) actors Karl Urban and Michael Ealy.

From Family Guy mastermind Seth MacFarlane, this sure-to-be gut-busting comedy starring Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi uncovers the chaos that ensues when the lives of two successful 30-something dudes are disrupted by their dads moving in with them.

Geoff Stults has starred in some incredible series — October Road, Happy Town and The Finder — but none that have really stuck. We're hoping this one, in which he plays an army sergeant just returned from combat, lasts more than a few seasons.

MasterChef Junior

We had the pleasure of following along with judge Graham Elliot during this season of MasterChef, so it should come as no surprise we're thrilled that he and fellow culinary authorities Gordon Ramsay and Joe Bastianich will be back in the fall — this time with foodies between the ages of 8 and 13.

Us & Them

It can be awkward when you finally get up the courage to introduce the person you're dating to your family. Cue Gavin and Stacey — played by adorable duo Jason Ritter and Alexis Bledel — a young couple trying to make it work amid the chaos of those closest to them.
