It's been two months since actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum gave birth to daughter Everly, her first child with husband Channing Tatum. The new mom is settling into motherhood nicely, but there's one thing that she's still not mastered: The art of sleeping when her daughter sleeps.
"I'd like to snap my fingers and be asleep, because I'm a little sleep-deprived at the moment," the Witches of the East End actress joked to YourTango.
Maybe it's because little Everly isn't so cooperative when it comes to the whole sleeping thing, yet. We can't say that we blame her, though: All of that traveling gives us jet lag, too.
"She has to travel well because she traveled when she was four weeks old, coming back from London," Dewan told YourTango. "I wouldn't say that plane rides are my favorite thing in the world, but she's a really good baby, knock on wood."
And she looks like both parents, which definitely isn't a bad thing when mom is Dewan and dad is Tatum.
"She definitely looks like me when I was an infant, but there's something in the eyes that's very Chan," she said, adding that the 2-month-old "smiles and giggles all the time."
As for how motherhood has changed her?
"It definitely changed me and deepened everything in my life. Everything I do, I think of her first," she said. "Every action I take is for her. It really becomes this otherworldly, deepening picture."
