I had to take our change counter bank full of pennies to buy dog treats, maxi pads, and cat food to Dollar General. She just checked what my coin bank on in it, dumped the pennies in the back and handed the bank back to me. I think she understood....LOL

I went into the store this afternoon with the intention of only Window Shopping and helping my daughter and son in law register for their new baby at Babies R Us. I didn't have the check book or a credit card with me. Mike went out to get the car and begin to cool it off. As I was walking out of the store, I noticed a rack of lightweight cotton long sleeved onesie's that were marked down to 49 cents each!!!! I went through and picked out one of each color and pattern they had in each size. It wasn't until I got to the register that I remembered I didn't have my checkbook or the credit card!!!! I started to tell her that I was going to have to put them back, when I happened to spy a ziplock bag in the bottom of my purse. It was the change from the garage sale that I had two weeks ago! I'd forgotten all about it. I had intended to take it to the bank and cash it in. I ask the cashier if she minded and she said Absolutely not! I always need change! So my daughter, the cashier and I quickly began to count and stack quarters and dimes into dollar increments. Didn't take long to get to the $17 that I'd spent on the pj outfits!
