During my travels to all corners of the globe, there are two things I can't resist doing in a new place: shopping and yoga. Contrary to what one might think, there *is* a way to find a balance between material things and living an immaterial life. No matter the city I'm in -- be it Buenos Aires, Tel Aviv, Tulum, Ljubljana -- I will seek out boutiques selling unique wares from local designers, and I will find a place to get my downward dog on. Buying 'local' fashion connects me to the culture and allows me to bring a piece of it home; while practicing yoga in a foreign place brings home to wherever I am.
