Reading, writing, cooking, eating. When I'm not being a wife, a mom, an undergraduate student at Harvard University Extension School, a contributing editor for edible South Shore magazine, or the program coordinator at the East Bridgewater YMCA, you can be sure I'll be doing one of those four things (and preferably two or three simultaneously). I have been writing stories and essays since I was in elementary school; I have yet to find a better vehicle to express my thoughts, emotions, dreams and wishes. Correcting grammar, spelling and punctuation has always been a hobby? habit? annoying personality trait? of mine, which would probably explain why I love editing the writing of others just as much as I love writing. And as my penchant for cooking, baking, growing vegetables and herbs, and eating began to develop, I realized that food writing and editing would be the perfect culmination of my myriad interests and talents.
