Wife, mother and now grandmother, homemaker. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, those were the only things I could come up with. I'd toy with the idea of other professions, but those were always consistent. My other passions? Anything vintage and genealogy. Knew at the age of 10 or 12 that I wanted to be an antique dealer and in 1998 eBay and a small antique mall near me allowed that dream to come true. I haven't looked back. Still going, now on Etsy instead of eBay and with five booths in three different antique malls plus now conducting estate sales with a friend. But there's one other passion. The internet and my little piece of it. My blogs. One about junking is called Excuse Me While I Buy This Junk. The other is a bit more refined. Just Vintage Home is home decor, crafting and cooking. I also have a personal genealogy site and a site where I publish abstracts from old local papers.
There is never enough time to do all the things I want or even need to do, but I keep on keeping on. Doing what I can when I can.
