I’m Dana Carmel, a world traveler, cultural explorer, and a community servant. I’m a married, thirtyish full time corporate professional, but in my free time I travel, volunteer, and write as much as I can.
When I was a kid, my family and I lived in Panama for a little over three years, and I’ve been using my passport ever since. After a lot of traveling, I realized that while collecting passport stamps is cool, it can’t be my sole goal.
I’ve come to realize that now is my time to make my travels count by leaving a mark whenever and wherever possible by volunteering my time and resources. I document my volunteer and non-volunteer travels around the world on my blog at www.TimeTravelPlans.net.
