I began blogging about food, weight loss, and healthy living in May of 2011, following encouragement from people who watched my husband and I shed over 300 pounds.
Now I share the original recipes we enjoy on our table. Through writing I have become a cheerleader and an advocate for mindful eating. Through Our Lady of Second Helpings I encourage readers to make small steps toward their own life changes. I try to make the journey a little more comfortable with recipes suitable for all members of the family family.
It is my sincere hope that by sharing our experiences and examples of how we live our life readers will see that monumental life change is possible and sustainable without drastic measures.
