Liz Gumbinner is a contributing editor to BlogHer Style but can also be found creeping around the political and parenting posts.
She's the publisher and editor-in-chief of the popular shopping blog for parents, Cool Mom Picks, which has been called "the online arbiter of cool" by Parents Magazine, named a favorite blog by RealSimple and inStyle, and listed as one of the 11 best websites for kids and families by Telegraph UK. She also publishes the sister site Cool Mom Tech, and authors the personal blog Mom-101.
Liz has been feautred discussing shopping and parenting trends on shows including NBC's TODAY Show, CBS The Early Show, and NPR's The Takeaway, and she's a featured panelist on iVillage's "The Conversation Thread" hosted by KellyWallce. Her writing can be found offline in magazines including Redbook and New York Parent and in several anthologies including Sleep is for the Week: The Best of the Mommybloggers, and Kirtsy Takes a Bow: A Celebration of Women's Online Favorites.
Liz has been named one of Nielsen's 50 online Power Moms, one of Babble's Top 50 mom bloggers and top 50 moms on Twitter, and can be found on Forbes' list of The Top 10 Mommyhood Gurus. But she may be more excited (and confounded) that the NY Post called her one of 8 New Yorkers to follow on Twitter, right under Lady Gaga.
In her myriad spare time she's an ad agency creative director, creating some of the ads you love and some that she'll never admit to. Liz lives with her partner and two daughters in Brooklyn, NY.
