I love the thrill of competition. As a business owner, I found that sports topics are great icebreakers. As a sports mom, the games were a great way for my only child to create a lasting relationships. Since 2008, I've devoted myself to tending Sideline Pass, a sports site that accommodates and welcomes all levels of fanhood. The focus initially was on the female fan and the new, uniformed fan. As part of my blogging duties, I've had the chance to interview some of my sports heroes and heroines, attend the Super Bowl and develop relationships with fans around the world. I began to field questions from other moms who hadn't even considered what was happening on the field or court until their child took interest. Now, they're rushing to understand the games and discuss topics like safety and scholarships. We added more features just for parents and look to grow that area. As far as my personal background, I've moved around from my native Louisiana to years in California, DC and Texas. I'm a proud graduate of Stanford University and the mom a Stanford grad so our spaces are Cardinal all over. Don't be surprised, either, at all of the food references on the site because I love to cook. I don't separate my sports love from my business or my kitchen, I combine them all for a fascinating, expanded view of the sports world. Now, on to my goal of visiting every stadium in the NFL.
