Hello! My name is Bev, an educator and human service worker turned jewelry designer. I am a planner and think of myself as being very practical and not a risk-taker. That is, until I decided to quit my job and travel around South America for five months with my husband. Guess I can't say I'm not a risk-taker anymore! Now that I am back, I decided to try my hand at selling on Etsy full-time, which has been a dream of mine for several years. Although I have dabbled in jewelry-making and crafting for years, in the past few years I fell in love with making chainmaille. I love the look and feel of it and the process of making it. I started my blog as a way to document my journey into starting a small business owner and a way to share my love of food, travel, and DIY/crafting projects.
When I'm not making jewelry or blogging, I love to travel, read, go to farmers' markets and craft fairs, take Zumba classes, spend time with friends and family, cook, try ou new DIY craft projects, and hang out with my adorable dog-like cat Leo.
