Born and raised in Southern California, I’ve spent the last several years working my way up and down the coast of the Golden State. I received my degree from UC Santa Barbara in Cultural Anthropology and Art History, specializing in Meso-American and Andean cultures (which has served me no use in my professional life, but makes me an excellent museum companion), taking a brief hiatus to study abroad in Italy my junior year. After college I moved to San Francisco for seven years, before moving back to my beloved hometown.
I've been a vegetarian since I was 13, and I love to cook (but going vegan is out, because I could never give up my cheese). As much as I love my home state, I generally suffer from an intense case of wanderlust, and my goal is to hit every continent by the time I’m thirty-five.
