I hear people say all the time they would never have the time or patience to home school. I'm totally down with the "time" thing, but I've always wanted to teach. Guess what? Now I can, you can, we all can -- even if we send our kids to public or private school -- thanks to some nifty downloadable worksheets available via BlogHer's partnership with Education.com.
My daughter is in first grade, so I'll be checking out water-bottle bowling and Post-It Bingo when the weather is nasty outside and I'm dead set against one more round with the Barbies. Maybe Barbie would like to be in fifth grade, in which she can make electricity or write limericks. Or even high school, which I'll admit, I was hesitant about (insert bad memories of substitute teacher high school "games" here) -- but high schoolers can do what we so often do here at BlogHer-- write a letter to their future selves or be a roving reporter.
So here you go! Enjoy yourselves, and trust in your own ability to teach.
