2013 Countdown to Christmas 36 Days: Save with Gift wrapping alternatives
If you’re like me you’ve begun slowly cleaning up and storing away item you don’t need for the holidays or winter so you may be coming across items you would use for gift wrapping some pretty unique gifts this Christmas. As I begin putting away and making room for storing items I take a look at little things like ribbons, stickers, artificial foliage all these things can make great attachments to any kind of gifts. Purchasing plain butcher paper at an office supply/school supply store at this time of year when it’s at the lowest price with school already going strong and no one purchasing these items normally this time of year you can get enough to use all season long. Adding some ribbons and other found items can make it special. Think about the recipient do you have photos of them throughout the year that makes a great one of a kind gift wrapping or tag. Consider the gift within the package if it’s say for a coffee lover you may consider just using a basket and filling it using a cello bag ($1.00 at most dollar stores buy 2 in a bag) and tying a ribbon or coffee packet to it same for tea lovers or candles.
