Sofia is 15 months!
Did I really just write that? When I was pregnant everyone always told me time goes quickly with a little one and I thought "yeah, yeah" & now 15 months later I'm wondering where the time went! One day she's having tummy time and in the blink of an eye she's running around the house. I still can't fathom how quickly Sofia has grown, it's a constant state of change.
Sofia is wearing a few 12 months and lots of 18 month & 2T clothes (especially Circo brand). We love form fitting tops & pants, her sweet perky booty in jeggings is the cutest. She is wearing a size 4 in shoes.
Pretty much anything and everything, Sofia isn't much of a picky eater. She usually eats our leftovers from dinner the night before, sometimes it's a hit and other times it's a miss but you live & you learn, I like to offer her a variety.
She loves "chee" cheese, blackberries, strawberries, clementines, bananas, raspberries, chicken nuggets, ham with syrup and canned peas & carrots (must be canned, she will toss the frozen veggies off the highchair!). She also loves anything I'm eating, this is quickly becoming a fun habit. ;)
Top - 4 front teeth and one coming in the back
Bottom - 3 front teeth and one in the back
I'm assuming these back assholes are the 2am wakeup culprits! She bit me on the neck today and those teeth are no joke. I thought we were having a sweet cuddly moment for a second there.
A few weeks ago I counted 33 words and it's been expanding ever since. The rate she gains new words is mind boggling but oh so fun. I love that she can somewhat communicate needs/wants to me. Favorite words of the moment are kit-te, pup-pup, doo-da (we call our dog Vinny, Dooda), ba-ba (bath), bu-ble (when she wants bubbles in the bath & then she grabs the body wash for me to squirt under the running water), nack-nack (snacks), gocks (socks), shoesies (shoes), yawndri (laundry) & Mama and Dada are always a favorite.
Kitties, both real and fake. Watching Mike vacuum & then running to get her vacuum. Hugging our dog and then trying to lay on him. Helping me cook dinner, I give her a whisk and she will try to stir anything and everything. Picking random things off of the carpet and handing them to me, she gets the biggest smile on her face like it was such an accomplishment but really, it does make me proud she's slightly OCD. ;) Climbing on everything, I swear she's half monkey. DANCING, oh my goodness does she have moves - I really don't know where she learns to roll her shoulders, drop it down low or bob her head but it's the sweetest sight. And lastly, baths loaded with as many bubbles that will fit & then giving herself a bubble mustache.
Oh and she loves riding around in her pink coupe. Pretty sure she's thinking "move B, get out the way!" such hot stuff these days. ;)
We went to FL at the beginning of the New Year & Sofia loved being outside. If we wouldn't take her out when she wanted to go out, tantrums would happen left and right. In fact, 15 months has been the start of melt down mania. What age does it end!?
|Mom's Finest Moment|
The epic stair tumble. I would like to forget that ever happened!
|Dad's Finest Moment|
When I pushed him out of bed during one of Sofia's 2am meltdowns, he was still sleeping and ran into the baby gate then spun around and hit the wall.
We keep saying this is the most fun month, every month! But really, 15 months has been a complete shit show & hilariously heart warming all at the same time.
