Today, we had a TON of snow!

We got out of work early and I felt as giddy as a school girl.

Which goes to show, you are never too old for a snow day. ;) Although, a slightly different snow day than my college days. I remember one time, my best friend and I threw back beers all day and then attempted to walk on the ice. We were slipping, sliding & falling on our butts. It was all fun and games until we woke up the next day bruised head to toe.

I was able to squeeze in a nap, which I so desperately needed (Sofia is still waking up in the middle of the night!). My nap consisted of me climbing into Sofia's crib with her and the dog. Baby girl wasn't feeling her nap today, it was meltdown city, so I had no other option but to crawl into the crib with her. It was 20 minutes of blissful peace. I'll take it.

Mike got home early and we all headed out in the snow. Sofia's first real snow experience. As you can tell from the pictures, she's obviously a warm weather kind of girl & I'm totally ok with that!

Sofia ditched the sled to warm up inside with her nack-nack's (snacks) and watched Mike pull Vinny around.

Our night ended sipping on whipped cream cocktails, topped with festive heart sprinkles! :)

Hope you're having a great week & enjoying some snow too!
