Seriously, the school supply list says what?

My daughter is starting kindgardten in a couple of weeks.  Being the crazy mom I am with a full time job and taking my online class, I figured I'd better do the shopping a little bit at a time.

Here are some items on the school supply list

Backpack-got it last fall on clearance.

Lunch bag-got it last fall on clearance.

Folder-she just got a Frozen one for her birthday

A child size towel- I have no idea what this is. I think it is for nap time, but I don't see how a towel would make sleeping on the floor more comfortable.  Plus all the stores have big beach towels on sale,  Will have to think about this one

Bounty paper towels- It even specifies the brand. I wonder if I'd get in trouble for buying generic

Crayola crayons- It says no Rose Art crayons please. Darn, those are cheaper.

Pencils that have to be yellow and sharpened.  I wonder why they have to be sharpened, Don't they have a pencil sharpener? I hope so because it's not on the list

2 packages of copier paper and antibacterial wipes- When did these become a school supplies? What's next, toilet paper?

There is way more stuff on the list.  The other funny thing is that it lists the supplies for the other grades are on the same document.  I find it weird that in kindergarten, you need a hard pencil case (no soft ones please). But in first grade, you need a soft pencil case (no hard ones please).  Total mystery.

Oh well, back to the store.
