Glory! Glory alleluia! Baby Spock dropped a deuce! She did this voluntarily. And by “voluntarily” I mean she issued demands and when they were met she released the hostages. Her primary demand was to be put back into a diaper for (her) convenience. I didn’t care. As long as she made with the boom-boom I would have let her use the front yard had she been so inclined.
We are also getting new couches today! And by “new” I mean used and 13 years old but still in good condition and hella pricey back when they were first bought. Sadly, we are getting them because their owners -- good friends of ours and their kids bonded with our kids – have been transferred to California. The sofas are our consolation prizes.
God knows we need something to sit on. Our currents couch is in such bad shape it has been rejected by Goodwill. We aren’t sure if it was rejected because of the pee stains (both potty-training toddlers and dog) or because one of our doggies chewed the buttons off it or because it sags in the middle almost to the floor. All we know is that Goodwill is so picky.
In further news (feel the minutia people) I am now double blogging – the post goes up on my Wordpress site and on Blogher. However, my Blogher page looks sad without anyone “following” me or clicking the little heart icon to indicate my awesomeness. It is therefore a right and joyful thing that you should follow me and heart me ASAP. Just click the Betty Fokker name (in blue) and it's make it easy peasy lemon squeezey to follow me. Get to clicking people! Or so help me I will post MORE about my toddler’s poo.
Imma going to get some couches now. I’ll let y’all know if I hurt myself.
PS -- Nothing is damaged but I am going to be SORE in about 30 minutes.
