{the first year} 11 months!

11 months!
Holy cow.
At 11 months Ava is almost a full blown toddler. She definitely looks like a toddler, there is no baby left in her.
She talks in her own little language constantly. Different sounds depending on different things. She still pretty much just says mama, mom, dada, Jack, cat and something that sounds like I love you.
She gives kisses when you ask, adorable open mouth kisses.
She has learned that all she has to do is grab mine or Jason's finger and lead us to the back door to let us know she wants to go outside.
She will also take your finger and put it on something she wants.
She got her first pair of shoes this month and she does really well walking in them.
She loves playing with Jack, even if he doesn't always like her touching what he is playing with.
She loves going down the slide at the play ground and swinging.
Dancing, if there is anything with a beat, this girl is dancing to it.
I don't know how much she weighs, but she is half as tall as Jack. She fits well in 12-18 month clothing.
She loves to read and will pick books off the shelf all day long. She especially likes to crawl up into her daddy's lap with a book.
She growls all the time, which is to be expected since her brother runs around playing Godzilla.
She enjoys putting things in and out of containers.
This morning she helped put her shorts on by lifting each leg into her shorts.
She is just a lot of fun to be around and I enjoy spending everyday with her. I can't believe she will be 1  in just one short month.
