Thursday, November 28, 2013 How do you feel about the first blog post you ever wrote? ~~~~~~~~ I started my blog nearly one year ago; December 11, 2012.  My first blog post, was an introductory post.  I feel pretty good about it.  I haven’t met my goal of getting a novel finished, but once I started blogging, I found that I had much to learn before finishing that novel. I have written a lot of poetry, short stories, and articles.  I have followed several memes and have learned more and more.  I might be able to finish that novel next year, but right now I’m thinking of publishing a book of short stories.  We will see. My next blog post, is a poem, I wrote about my oldest grandson and my old teddy bear.  I would like to share it with you.

1 A Bear White Teddy

Teddy Bear

There was a teddy bear

that I had loved for years.

It had been with me forever,

sharing my laughter and tears.

As I grew older, teddy bear

became old and stained,

from tears and hugging.

Teddy bear became deigned.

Then along came my grandson

and found teddy bear.

His face lit with joy

and his eyes filled with care.

Teddy bear no longer laid

lumpy and forgotten.

Teddy bear found a new home

with one of my own begotten.
