Do Tell: Share What You Stole From Your Mom and Win Her (and You!) a $100 Bloomie's Gift Certificate

Do you steal stuff from your mom or another female relative? No? Nothing? We don't believe you.

Living Green

BlogHer's own Denise steals her mother's socks.

"After years of doing this, one of the first things I do when I enter the rose room is to check and see what sort of new cool socks my mother has purchased to replace all of the other pairs I took home last time I was there. (It’s been a long time since I visited her; I bet her sock drawer is seriously overflowing!) TW has taken to buying me cool socks but it is just not the same as taking my mom’s."

I thought I didn't steal anything from my mom, but then I remembered that I, too, am a total sock thief. What is it with our mother's socks?

It may be that you actually don't like your mother's taste. In which case it is possible she foists things on you that you don't like. Or maybe your children do. Either way, we want to know about your mom's stuff. Leave a comment on this post telling us about what you thieve from your mother, aunt, grandma, sister, etc. or what she keeps giving you that you immediately hide and make fake puking noises as soon as she leaves the room. Each comment will register you to win two $100 gift certificates to Bloomingdale's. So you can both restock your stuff.

The drawing will take place at noon Pacific on Friday, May 7! Make sure you have your e-mail address in your BlogHer profile so we can contact you if you win.

We will put all the comments into a randomizer to choose the winner. Comment as many times as you want! Good luck!

Official Contest Rules

Don't miss the Do Tell Archive. Last week we asked which fashion trend you thought was the worst to win a $100 Visa gift card.

Updated! This contest is closed.
