Did you grow up as a middle child? Do you have more than two children yourself?
I was the baby of the family growing up, but there were seven kids. The dynamics were very interesting and the middle children always felt a little left out.
Years later my husband and I decided to have a 3rd child, automatically creating the dynamics of a middle child in our home. It has been interesting to explore whether there is truth in the research that state personalities are formed partially by your birth placement in the family.
Today on the Den Chronicles I write about the middle child. This is the second article in a series of three regarding birth order.

Grace became a bit louder after Cade was born. At first I thought it was so she could be heard over the colic of a newborn baby. Alas, that has not been the case. Her amazing lung capacity, whether her little brother is around or not, continues to amplify to the point that the decibels compare to some of some rock concerts I have attended.
