I know she won’t see this because she doesn’t even own a computer or really know all about the Internet and blogging still confuses her. She just thinks I write a lot for everyone to see which is pretty much blogging.
Today I am thankful for my Mamaw.
My Mamaw is the most amazing woman I know and the strongest woman I know! She is 82 and in better shape than me I’d bet! She is very active and always on the move which is probably where I get it from. I know I did get my clean freak gene from her and DO NOT WEAR YOUR SHOES IN MY HOUSE GENE from her. It could be worse I suppose, I could have gotten her snore gene! *smirk* Inside family joke to those of you reading today.
I didn’t sleep a wink! Bwah ha ha.
Let me fill you in, when we travel on vacation together Mamaw can shake the room with her snoring and in the morning she will always say, “I didn’t sleep a wink.” We know she did because we were the ones that didn’t sleep a wink!
I know that I am just like my Mamaw and I’m thrilled because I don’t know anyone I’d rather be like.
She is the proud Mamaw of four awesome great grandchildren (I am her only grandchild), and she spoils them all rotten, which is what Mamaws are supposed to do. At least that’s what she tells me. It’s true though because she always used to spoil me.
I want my Mamaw to know that I am so blessed that she belongs to me and if it wasn’t for her then I wouldn’t be the woman I am today and I think I’m pretty damn awesome. Thank you Mamaw.
So, today and every other day in my like, I am thankful for my Mamaw. My Mamaw, ME and my amazing Great Aunt K! Yes, they are sisters.
What are you thankful for?
