This is Red Ribbon week at school. The kids are learning about being drug free, etc. Each day has a different dress up emphasis.
Monday was wear RED to school to show you are Red-y to be drug free.
Charlie – Mom, I don’t have any red shirts to wear today.
Mommy – yes you do. You have several clean red t-shirts in your drawer.
C – But I don’t want to wear those. You haven’t washed this shirt in ages and ages and ages. (holding dirty t-shirt in his hands)
M – sorry. I will wash it this weekend. Pick a different shirt.
C – can’t you just squirt with that smelly stuff to make it clean again? So I can wear it today?
Febreeze to the rescue!
