CHILDREN AND TELEVISION

Hello Everybody,

This is my first blog you will be seeing more of me!

Todays topic will be television.

I was babysitting my niece today, and we were watching the Sesame Street's ABCS SING ALONG. I love Elmo and all the puppets let me tell you why.  The colors are amazing and very GREAT FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. Elmo to me is like a live book. With motion. T.v time is Ok as long as it's limited. For my children, I will be using the WALKER technique. Leaving them in the walker as they watch educational television. Not only does Sesame Street have GREAT EPISODES. They also have GREAT self-imaging SONGS. My favorite ones, in particular, are, I LOVE MY HAIR, PROUD, AND NEVER GIVE UP. I can't wait until they make a CLEANUP SONG. LOL!!! Their episodes make learning fun. As well as a beneficial time for your children. I feel every chance we get we should be expanding our children's minds. I love children and small t.vs. BIG T.VS ARE JUST HARMFUL To CHILDREN IN MY OPINION. Everyone has their own way of parenting always do whats best for you. I don't think young children should be watching GROWN UP shows WHAT SO EVER. NOT AT ALL. Just my theory on it. As I said EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN WAY OF PARENTING.  MY FIRST BLOG had got DELETED I TRIED TO DELETE A WORD AND END UP DELETING THE ENTIRE THREAD. Back to the walker technique. With my children, I will be using the walker technique. Put them in the walker or the bouncer  as I clean after a meal and let them learn 3 THINGS. How to have stronger legs. How to walk. As well as learn education. WOW WHAT A WIN HA!. I think you should watch everything before you let your children WATCH ANYTHING. Like  A SAFETY ZONE. Why let your children watch something that is bad for them?  There is an age restriction for a reason. Well, that is all for me today. I HOPE YOU ENJOYED MY BLOG ON TELEVISION AND CHILDREN. HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!
