I never thought that having a toddler could make pregnancy so exponentially more tiring. Seriously. It’s not easy, as any mom (pregnant or not) of more than one will tell you. Now, you might be a lot like me – thinking that you’re superwoman! A toddler while pregnant isn’t going to break you! You were fine last time you were with child!
This is one of the only times ever that I will advocate to NOT listening to that little voice in the back of your head: because she’s wrong. Sure, after a while you certainly adjust – but let me help you think about this in a way that…makes more sense.
Remember back in the old days, before you had kids, or even when your first baby was just a wee one who only slept ate and pooped? Remember how you used to actually have time to do things like workout? Remember when your things were your own, and not things that you had to share with a one year old, only to have them come back to you covered in sticky fingerprints, and, in some cases, completely unusable? Well my friend, those were the days. Those were the days when you actually had time to workout. Time to lounge on the couch for a full Saturday if the morning sickness wouldn’t abate.
