Today I was doing a combination of working from home/going to appointments/preparing for the fourth. I know, I try to cram way too much into one day. I’m working on it.
Anyway, my biggest and most important task of the day was to go to Costco for all of our necessities for this weekend. So I thought that going during the day today meant I was being super smart and avoiding the rush. WRONG – it was busier than a regular Saturday! And if you are a shopping-in-bulk fiend like I am, you know what going to Costco on a Saturday means. And it’s definitely not the best thing in the world.
But I made the best of it, found all of my stuff and got it loaded into the car. And even though it was busy, I couldn’t help but notice the smug smile on my face: I had just knocked just about everything off of my shopping list in one fell swoop, while saving money. Amazing.
