Simplicity seemed to be the key to a great event. Less fuss than when we married the first time at a much younger age.

A pretty venue and great food and wine were top priorities for the party. 
Marrying Later in Life Brides tend to hold their receptions in restaurants, private homes or clubs as opposed to big catering halls. Creating a feeling of intimacy with family and friends is extremely important.
Many brides consider holding their reception earlier in the day to accommodate both an older crowd and the young grandchildren who may be taking part in the ceremony. 
Elizabeth created a kids table with lots of activities to keep them busy and allow their parents time to visit with family and friends.
