A letter to my dearest friends: the big announcement

To my wonderful friends,

it was a little over two years ago when I said to God, "I'm ready to find someone special—a real man who loves me for me and is an amazing partner in life. I'm ready to be married and to be happy."

Little did I know I would meet George soon thereafter and my world would change forever. He lifts me up when I'm low, supports me when I don't have courage or the know how to get through difficult decisions and loves me unconditionally. Yes, even when I'm crazy, neurotic and being super picky! He is the calm to my storm and has incredible patience and compassion. I'm grateful to God (and D, Monica, Aura) for bringing us together that fateful night in Cafeina;)

On May 5, 2013, our second anniversary, George proposed to me as we arrived in Mykonos, Greece. I can only describe the feeling of warmth and love spreading through me—I was so happy and relieved (I've been waiting for this day for what seems like such a long time)! I thought I was being patient, but apparently, I've been "dropping hints" more than I realized…shocker!

I look forward to the many changes I will face: personal growth, marriage, starting a family and spending the rest of my life with an incredible man by my side.

I love each of you for so many reasons, and I consider you my closest friends. They say it's a blessing to have one good friend, but I am fortunate to have all of you in my life. Thank you for your love and ever lasting friendship.

Love always
