Don’t fret the holiday season.  Use this time to get out there and meet someone great.  In order to do this you will need to put your best foot forward.  Here are some tips to help you bring out your inner and outer “Snow King/Queen!”

Be your best you! It is important that you look and feel your best!   Now is the perfect time to get your hair done and your teeth cleaned.  Most people are attracted to a great smile and it is the first thing a lot of people will notice about you!  Also, pick  a few outfits that you feel sexy or handsome in and make sure to wear them when you go to holiday parties.  Workout regularly so you not only fit into your clothes nicely but you also put off a good energy!  And Ladies- for God sakes, if you can, wear heels.  Flats are so not sexy at night!

Always dress to impress! Whether it is a big holiday function or a small get together, make sure to have your best foot forward.Fashion Show - MenYou never know when your perfect guy/girl may walk into a small dinner party because your best friend’s husband/wife has a cute friend from work coming!  So again we state, make sure you always do your hair, makeup and wear something that you not only feel comfortable in but also feel sexy in.  How you feel about yourself will come across in how you carry yourself and interact with other people.  Upbeat, positive, outgoing and interesting people will attract others with these same attributes.

Have some fun things to say! The worst thing a person can do is have nothing to say!  You want to come off interesting and full of life.  We recommend having a few topics on hand that you can bring up on the spur of the moment.  “So how do you know the hostess?” or “You look really familiar, did you go to school with Julie (the hostess)?” You can bring up how good the drink you are drinking is “I have never tried this drink, it is great.” or mention, “Did you see the Ravens game on Sunday?  Nothing kills off a conversation like dead space or asking, “So…what do you do?”   If you feel the conversation is struggling, don’t give it a chance to go into silent mode. Politely tell the person you are talking to that you have to go say hi to someone and that you should talk later. That way it keeps you interesting, not desperate!

Ice Skating

Be a fun date especially if you’re in a relationship! Making sure you take the time out to plan a fun date or an outing with your loved one is very important in maintaining a good relationship.  Plan a nice dinner out and then go listen to live music or see a comedy show.  Exercise is also a fun way to spend time together. You can go ice skating at one of the many rinks in the area, followed by a cozy place for a cup of hot cocoa.  Your endorphins will have you feeling great and the intimate conversation that follows may bring your relationship closer.  Of course, a surprise flower arrangement never hurt either!

Have fun during the holidays and use this social time of year to your dating advantage!
