Bringing Sexy Back -Defined

I do not understand the phrase "Bringing Sexy Back". Isn't the word "Sexy" meant to describe an appealing desire toward a person or object. Since when did human emotions go away? The population didn't see a swift decline over the last ten years or anything. So I am confused as to why this saying has become so popular.

I did research on the phrase. Ironically, I found most of the information in the Urban Dictionary, an online dictionary containing words and slang that was invented by the younger generation. I was surprised to discovered that the term comes from S&M (Slave and Master) practices. Even the hit song, Sexyback by Justin Timberlake, echoes these activities in the lyrics. So basically, I uncovered that our uneducated younger generation are using improper grammar from a dictionary they wrote themselves!
