Women in Nonprofit Technology Rock Stars

In December, Fast Company published an article called "The Most Influential Women in Web 2.0" featuring about a dozen amazing women who work in the Web 2.0.  The list included BlogHer founders Elisa Camahort Page, Jory Des Jardins, and Lisa Stone.  The list also included, Kaliya Hamlin, who is the founder of She's Geeky, a women and technology conference taking place in Mountain View, CA on January 30-31st. The post sparked heated debate in spots on the social web, some of it not necessarily enlighted dialogue.

This month, Fast Company, has another article in print and on the web called "The Most Influential Women in Technology" and it includes a number of different categories beyond Web 2.0.   I'm humbled to be on the "Activists" list!

But as with any "best of" or "most this or that" list, it's bound to be incomplete.   So, this gives me a great excuse to share with you a list of Women in Nonprofit Who Are Rock Stars.    If you are interested in the nonprofit sector or social change, check out their blogs and subscribe.  So, in no particular order:
