Vacationing with Friends- Part 2

Ok quickly, before I pull out the pens and start tangling, here is part duex. And a list of what I did so I remember to tell Michael.

Ordered lamps

washed all the rugs

put the dogs back in diapers

emptied dishwasher

started dinner blogged twice (now thrice!) (including editing because WP and BH don't play nice together)

Balloon Fiesta

Dawn Patrol

When everyone got back from the portapots, we quickly moved to inside the fairgrounds and started watching. It was hard to decide where to keep my eyes or the lens of the camera because there were so many beautiful colors and shapes to bee seen. I didn't do much editing and you can see the entire set of photos from our morning here if you wish.

Morning Glow

Or just hang around for a few highlights. Let me just say this, I loved the balloons, I loved them all. And I loved them every single day. But the day we were on the grounds was by far the best experience I've had, it ranks right up there with visiting the Louvre this summer. Elaine said it was second only to the Sistine Chapel for her! It is an amazing experience that you should do if you can!

Elaine and I were Interviewed in front of Big Boy!

I cheered the cow on most of the morning, but alas, it never got airborne. I did enjoy using it as it inflated as the foreground for a lot of my shots though! The funny thing is, just as I was telling Allan how much I was glad Bossie was in my shots, he started complaining that she was in all his shots. Oh well, you have to be a cow lover to understand I reckon! :)

Balloons and a Cow Trying Really Hard

Michael and Elaine ventured off to look for sweatshirts, but the stands were so thick with people buying souvenirs that they came back empty handed. We remedied that at Cracker Barrel though, where we went after we were too cold, tired, achy (me) to hang out at the grounds any longer and caved in to breakfast.

Balloons UP! Cow down :(

It was so much fun and I really enjoyed seeing it through everyone's eyes. I had felt the excitement before, even from the service road. It was thrilling to watch Elaine and Allan and Michael watching the ballons.

Through Their Eyes

watch for part three! :)
