I’ve spent the past few days planning some trips for 2015. I originally was going to cut travel down next year because I’m still on sabbatical (code: not earning money). Then my Italy trip had to be rescheduled for next Spring, and my friend from my London/Paris trip this year asked if I wanted to go to China. So at that point, I began to think that if I’m taking this time for myself, I should continue to make the most of it and travel my little fanny off as much as fiscally possible.
I’ll finish off 2014 with a trip to Europe for Christmas, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Next year? Africa, China, Italy and hopefully Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. And on less exotic, but insanely fun note – I vow to go to San Diego Comic Con next year. The Nerd Olympics, and I can’t wait.
What about the fitness front you ask? I am scheduled to travel take the Strongfirst Kettlebell Certification later this year. I have a few months left to prepare and honestly, I’m going to have to bust it to be ready in time. More to come on that and my fitness plans for the rest of the year over the next few days. Let’s just say, I’m going to have to buckle down.
What are your travel plans? What are your travel bucket list locales? I’m a big fan of vision/mood boards – the long holiday weekend might be a good time to put one together and set your plans for the future!
I would have never imagined as a little girl that I would see the places I’ve already seen outside of reading about them in books, and 2015 looks like it could be even more exciting. The Vatican. The Great Wall. The Serengeti. The Walking Dead cast panel (ha!). My mind boggles every time I think about the adventures that lay ahead. I hope you will follow along with me and advice on must-see places is welcome!
My fancy cameras and I are going to take on the world!
