This time last week I was fresh off my flight via JFK and boarding the subway en route to BlogHer 2012 ~ NYC.

It was my first visit to NYC.

It took BlogHer to bring me there, and I have family in Manhattan! All I could say the entire trip was "WOW"!

From the amazing men and women who convened, the awesome luncheons, guests, speakers, exhibitors, to the incredible town - I was in awe!

Being a Chicagoan, I never felt the need to jump into the ultimate urban setting. Chicago has it all, but in comparison, NYC has this serious energy that no place I have ever visited has displayed!

Truly the City that NEVER Sleeps, I was able to mingle with this country's finest bloggers, hear the most inspiring stories, learn incredible things ... all thanks to BlogHer.

As a veteran member, this 2012 conference has exemplified what BlogHer has become. This year BlogHer has helped me take my blog to places I never dreamed. I have become comfortable being a panelist, reviewer, support system and Social Media expert all due to BlogHer influence.

If you are new to BlogHer, please take your time uncovering all that can await you.

If you are an old-timer, like me, take your time uncovering all that can await you! Seriously, new and old can simply kick back and know that the world awaits you and your blogging objectives and with BlogHer by your side you can literally reach the stars (HELLO President Obama, Katie Couric & Martha Stewart!!)

I, for one, am so excited BlogHer 2013 will be in my hometown! Be sure to look me up or tweet me! The City of Big Shoulders awaits you!
