Welcome to my blog. My name is Paula and just recently I had finished my Master's degree on counseling with an emphasis of school counseling. For the pass few years I have been a full time student, as well as a stay at home mom. The past year I was doing my internship in two very different Elementary Schools. One being high in responsive services and the other being very guidance curriculum oriented. It was a very bitter sweet ending, I was happy classes and internship was over but I was also sad that well... It was over. It has come to my attention that my life would now have to change. So I have started this blog in high hopes that other women have experienced this situation of having a routine and now have to change it.
I want to go back to work; I also want to stay at home with my children. It is like that song "Torn between two lovers..." But no lovers. I have talked to my husband about it and it seems that he has gotten use to stay at home mom lifestyle. He has been supportive which is a wonderful feeling. So I have decided that after all the studying that has taken place in my life, I will take a little break from stressing about going to back to work and enjoy summer vacation.
I really want to take the time and treat this blog like a journal of my life, hopefully I gain some tips and tricks on how to keep an 8 and 3 year old entertained. This blog would also help me at 4am when sleep is not my friend.
Thanks for reading!
Questions for my soul...
Has anyone ever been in this situation?
Does pushing the elevator button more than once make it arrive faster?
