If you deal with a winter freeze/thaw weather cycle, you know that potholes can bring frustration behind the wheel, and create giant mechanics' bills when a hole in the asphalt swallows your tire.
Here’s one solution: pack the potholes with pretty piles of yarn! A few years ago, artist Juliana Santacruz Herrera took to the streets of Paris with braids and braids of colorful yarn to repair unsightly potholes and cracks.
It may not be as permanent as the heavy-duty asphalt repair, but it is certainly cheerful!
