Spring is coming!

Well, Spring is just around the corner, but, the way winter is lately, it makes you wonder if it will come around or not. This year, I am actually looking forward to it. I have plans and made up my mind on something. I decided to go ahead and turn my enclosed side porch into a little store. The porch is not very big and I think what will make it special is the fact it will be cozy. It will mean that I won't be able to display as much as a regular store would but it will make it look like a great turn over more often that a regular store. So I guess I can use my basement as a storage area. The great thing about my store is that I will not have any overhead. No rent or utilities to worry about. The location is great and I figured I have the guarantee of having at least one potential customer a day, since next door is a huge medical building and my side porch faces their parking lot. The advertising will be low cost as the word of mouth should spread pretty good between the hundreds of people visiting their doctors during the day. Living on the stateline of Kentucky and West Virginia folks will have easy access to my store.  I am an artist, woodworker and crafter, a hobby I have practiced for over 20 years. I will be competing with other established businesses in town and that is okay, the quality of my products and prices will be much lower and therefore affordable.

So, what are your plans for this coming Spring?
