Time management for me was very difficult, until I realized that I need to make time for everything I can possibly do in a day and nothing more. What I mean is
First down on a Sunday afternoon write down everything that needs to be done that week make doctor’s appointment, arrange play dates, shop, pick up dry cleaning, make time for couponing etc. make a meal plan .
Next add the things you want to get done organize the laundry room, get “me time” you know sleep read a book etc.
Then each morning take 5 minutes to go over you master list of to dos for the day and week. Decide what needs to be tackled first and do that right then.
Technology makes paying bills easier and cost effective when you’re sitting in your doctor’s waiting room go through your bills and schedule a time to pay then at home on your home computer where you can quickly file them away and add them to your monthly expenses list. You should keep that expenses list on your desk top so that you can see where your money is going each month.
Don’t have time to exercise try doing squats during commercials or ironing while watching television this helps burn off calories and keeps you focused and off those commercials that just usually make us hungry. Take time each night to go over your list if you haven’t accomplished everything on your list don’t stress just arrange a time in the near future to take care of it.
Keeping a schedule each day will allow you more time to yourself and makes you feel you’ve accomplished a great deal.
As moms we often don’t take time to realize just how much we do and that we do deserve and need a break make time for that break and take care of yourself or you won’t be able to take care of anyone else. For more tips go to www.where2save.com
