Spend Less Save More: Becoming a Better Couponer in 2013

Becoming a better couponer this year is a goal of many so here are a few over the next few days we will be giving advice on how to make new couponers and old pros better couponers and savers in the process. Feel free to leave your tips and your best savings of the past year.

Now back to basics. The bulk of most coupons come from the weekly circulars in your local Sunday paper. So I suggest giving yourself a subscription or two to your local newspaper if only for the Sunday paper, some local papers offer Sunday only delivery deals.  Now the circulars are not in the paper every week most holidays they are not so check our download page for the 2013 insert schedule download it and save it in your phone or coupon folder so you will know when to buy your local paper. If you want to save even more on inserts ask your neighbors or friends for nay circulars they’re not using. Check out your local library for a coupon –sharing table, and if you and enough of you only need one other, friends are interested start a coupon sharing group get together once a month or week to exchange coupons.   We’ll discuss more about coupons tomorrow.
