The prompt for #reverb12, day three: (What's this #reverb thing?)
Living life on a transplant waiting list gives you lots of reasons to reflect on what you've achieved in your life, and what you wish for the future. Imagine a scenario where you only had one year left to live. What is one thing that you really wish to do that you just haven't had the chance to accomplish yet? What steps could you take (however small) to ensure that you accomplish this thing in 2013?
It's the cliche answer, but it doesn't make it any less valid: travel.
I've been so fortunate in my life to have travelled as extensively as I have. But the problem with starting early is that there's never enough time, or money, to continue and see everything.
In 2013, I'll be taking small steps to continue my love for exploring new places. Thomas and I will hopefully be taking our first vacation as a couple in April, to either go to Coachella or to just stay in Palm Springs. Then, I'm dying to return to BlogHer (I went to the conference in New York this summer!) in Chicago in July of 2013, because it would be awesome to a) go to another conference and b) meet Catie and Amanda/go to Sparklecorn with the Sparkle Queen again.
The next would be to take my writing to the next level and start to market/pitch my articles and stories again. This is something I need to chew on longer and mull over more, so I won't attach any actionable items to it yet; that might kill the little progress I've made it on it so far.
