For those of you who use Twitter and even Facebook, you have probably read or seen about Layla Grace. Layla is 2 years old and has stage 4 high risk neuroblastoma. During her illness, her family set up a Twitter and Facebook account to keep family and friends posted on her condition. But somehow, thanks to modern technology, this was noticed by celebrities who began "retweeting" info about her to their followers. To name a few: @kimkardashian, @JennyfromMTV, @RyanSeacrest, @ParisHilton, @maryjblige, and @GiulianaRancic just to name a few. Suddenly, people all over the web are praying for a little girl they have never met or even heard of. It is a strange cultural phenomenon, but it is our culture now and from now on. In some ways, it is wonderful. Layla Grace and her parents have touched many people with their faith and strength. This shows how technology can be an awesome thing. Not only is the information shared....love is shared.
