NaBloPoMo - Day Eleven: Sisters
Todays post is another quick one as it is the weekend and there are a few other things I'd rather be doing.
I just want to post about how funny my three little sisters are. They are 9, 7 and 4 and the highlight of their week is Saturday night. Not just because X Factor is on which they are obsessed with but because Saturday night has become 'Antipasti Night'.
All week they harass my dad and step-mum about whether they've remembered to buy the right olives and 'what colour cheese did you get again?' 'Do we have enough crackers?'
When I spoke to my dad on Saturday evening he said that they had got the platter together at 5:00pm waiting for the next two hours to pass until they could get all the food out and woof it down.
When I got this photo through on my phone it came with ' Waiting for Claire (step-mum) and Bronte to get from Tescos with the crackers'.
Two hours passed and then I got this photo through.
They're set for the night.
I can only hope and I'm sure my dad and step-mum do as well that this is how they will spend their Saturday nights until they are at least 18. Together, in their pyjamas, watching telly and scoffing down bowls of olives and crackers.
